Going out of town? We can board your pet! We take extra care of your pet while you’re away! We supply Royal Canin Gastrointestinal diet, comfy blankets & toys, but if your pet is on a special diet, feel free to bring it with you or anything else to make your pet’s stay with us more enjoyable! (Note: NRAH is not responsible for lost items) Strict rules of cleanliness are followed at all times.
1. Large runs (approx. 3’x6’
2. Large cages (approx.. 34”x28”x28”)
3. Small cages (28”x28”x28”)
The kennel area is climate controlled and each run is separated by half walls of painted cement blocks. Chain link fencing is used for the top half as well as for the run gates. Cages are stainless steel with top, bottom, back and both sides enclosed and the front is open grate work.
TO BOARD, PETS MUST BE CURRENT ON ANNUAL & RABIES VACCINATIONS! If you cannot provide proof of current vaccinations and parasite control, we can give them to your pet at time of arrival. The usual fees for these items will be added to your bill. Any animal entering the facility with fleas will be treated at the expense of the owner. We cannot risk infesting the hospital or any other animals in our care.
Rates are charged per animal and by the number of nights spent in the facility. There are special rates for animals staying a week or more. We also have multi-pet discounts available. Ask about these special rates. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE PET LEAVES.
Reservations should be made in advance to guarantee space for your pet. During the holidays please make reservations 4-6 weeks in advance!
October begins our semi-annual SPAYTOBERFEST for cats and dogs! We will reduce our prices on spaying and neutering this month. Residency and income not required for reduced pricing. Appointment needed.
BLOOD PARASITE & LYME DISEASE TESTING
We strongly recommend that dogs are tested for heartworm disease and other tick-borne infections/diseases yearly. Ticks are expanding their range. Because of this we are seeing an increase in Lyme disease in dogs, and other tick-borne diseases. We have had many who have tested positive just since January. It is as simple as a test and 2 boosters to prevent this disease. Free NexGard flea/tick preventative with appointment. Please call us for more details! 304-466-0251
