Ronielle
Practice Manager
Ronielle has been with New River Animal Hospital for almost 15 years. She has a degree from WVU and several certifications but what makes her management style unique is that she has worked in every department in the hospital. She says, “Working in this industry is just as much about the people as it is their pets.” She aims to keep up with trends in vet-med to provide you with the best care possible for your pet. You will often find Ronielle outdoors with her sidekick, “Jessi” (her Goldendoodle), or enjoying a good book.

As a teen, she participated in FFA and has experience with all sorts of animals including farm animals and reptiles. She is currently in vet tech school earning her degree and is also fear-free certified. She enjoys being able to help pets in need and creating lifelong connections with them. Although she has downsized her farm, she still has quite a few pets of her own including 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 horses, a pot belly pig, and an emu named “Shemu” When away from work she enjoys gardening, hunting, small hobby farming, and horseback riding.

Candice
Veterinary Assistant
Candice is a true farm girl. She has 16 horses, 12 dogs, goats, cows, and chickens. But for now, she’s content working with cats and dogs at our clinic. She is currently working toward a certification in veterinary technology. From there, she may go on to Veterinary School for her Doctorate but is content with life at the moment. When she isn’t tending to her farm, she likes to hike and travel.

Kyndal
Veterinary Assistant
Soon, Kyndal will have her Veterinary Assistant Certification from the Academy of Careers and Technology. From there, she may decide to go on to veterinary school. For now, she’s happy working alongside the Veterinarian.
As a mom to her yellow lab, “Gracie” and cat, “Tito” she doesn’t feel that is challenging enough and someday wants a farm and several more animals to add to her family. The reason she chose to work in this field is that she “loves being around animals and helping them.”

Emily
Veterinary Assistant / Grooming Assistant
Emily is currently learning all areas of the hospital. She aspires to be a veterinary technician one day. She enjoys baking, shopping, hiking, and sightseeing. She says she loves helping animals as much as her knowledge and experience allows at this time. She is eager to learn more about animal health and your furry family member!

Briana
Grooming Assistant
Briana is new to the grooming and vetmed world. She joins us in hopes to put her helping hands and big heart to use. She aspires to help give people and/or animals a better life experience. Her educational background is in sociology, psychology and social work. With that, in addition to the experience she gains from working here, she should achieve her goal.
In her free time she enjoys hiking, crafting and spending time with family, including her 3 furkids, Mika, Ozzy and Sammy.
She is eager to learn names and faces and the ins and outs of pet grooming!

Jessi
Our Greeter
Jessi is Ronielle’s 2-year-old Goldendoodle. She has been coming to work with her since she was 7 weeks old. She LOVES people and other pets and she couldn’t look more forward to your visit! Sprockit
Our Junior Greeter

Junkit
Our Senior Greeter
Junkit is a fun cat. He came to us as a kitten in a cardboard box. To be the kitten that nobody wanted, everyone loves him now. He’s energetic and loving and he loves to check out all the cool pets that come to visit his home. He is full of personality. Not a cat person? We bet you’ll love this one!
Lizzie
Greeter
Lizzie is the quiet kind; a touch-me-not. This pretty girl can be found sunbathing in the window. Her job is to keep Sprockit and Junkit in check. She says she doesn’t get paid enough for this job.
